Wildfires in western Turkey

Wildfires have spread across western provinces of Turkey. The Izmir and Gaziantep provinces are mostly affected, Trend reports.

Several villages have been evacuated.

Some 500 firefighters are involved in extinguishing operations. However, strong winds are hampering their efforts.
