Dagestani bloggers and mass media officials will visit 52 districts of the republic to tell inhabitants of the region about traditions, culture and lifestyle in different parts of the republic, RIA Novosti reports.A group called ‘52/52. Dagestan in the eyes of Dagestanis’ was formed on Facebook. Members of the group made routes and set dates for their visits.Bloggers have already visited 13 districts. Each blogger is to write as much as possible about his or her experiences. Timur Gusayev, supervisor of the project, expects about 70% of the population of the republic to learn about the region via the project.Gusayev noted that their blogs may be even more efficient than mass media. The Facebook group has 2,500 subscribers.He added that the idea to organize the visits was initiated by Alexander Kurgenyan of the Ministry for Press. The ministry provided transportation for the blog tour.
