Militant killed in Kabardino-Balkaria

An unidentified assailant who shot at police was killed 1km away from the Kavkaz Federal Highway in the Baksansky District of Kabardino-Balkaria at 4.00 am today, RIA Novosti reports.The man was on his way to Makhogaps. He refused to stop and opened fire at the police, only to be killed by counter-fire. No officer was injured in the attack.
