What happened in the Russian Jewish community in 2013

Chief Rabbi of Russia Berel Lazar believes that this year has been successful for the Jewish community. Synagogues and community centers were opened in many cities of Russia during this time. The only episode which marred the life of the community was an attack on a rabbi in the North Caucasus.
