US cannot build missile shield against Russia – ambassador

US Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul said that the White House considered the European missile shield a field for cooperation with Russia, Interfax reports.

He explained that the system could not be formed against Russia, it was a means of defense. McFaul added that there were no final long-term agreements with Iran, so the threat remained.
