Georgia renews citrus fruit exports

Heavy snow caused problems at the port of Batumi. Ships could not enter it and load tangerines for export to Russia and Ukraine.
The minister clarified that a ship transports about 1,200-1,500 tons of citrus fruit from Batumi to Novorossiysk every day. He added that about 40,000 tons of them had been delivered. Ukraine is the biggest importer of Georgian citrus fruits. Russia became the top importer in December.
