Georgian-Iranian Trade and Industry Chamber to open in January 2014

The Georgian-Iranian Trade and Industry Chamber will be formed by 5 Georgian and 4 Iranian co-founders in late January 2014, said Vano Mtvralashvili, Chairman of the Union of Oil Improters, Business Georgia reports.The organization will be formed by the Kutaisi Industrial Zone, Adjara Trade and Industry Chamber and Tskali Margebeli (maker of Nabeglavi mineral water). Iran is interested in the fields of energy, construction and food.The Georgian-Iranian trade turnover totals $120-150 million. The new chamber plans to boost the volume.
