Iranian film director honoured at Bangalore film festival

Iranian film director Pouran Derakhshandeh has been honoured at the opening ceremony of the 2013 Bangalore international film festival held in India, Iran's state-run news agency Press TV reports.

Derakhshandeh was paid tribute for her latest drama "Hush! Girls Don’t Scream." The film was received very well at two Indian international film festivals in Chennai and Kerala.
