Turkish politician urges Islamic authority Gulen to return

Mehmet Ali Sahin, Deputy Head of the Justice and Development Party of Turkey, has urged Islamic authority Fethullah Gulen to return back from the US to explain the recent events, Trend reports.

According to mass media, Gulen is behind the special operation in Istanbul and Ankara on December 17, when dozens of people, including businessmen and sons of ministers, were detained as suspects of corruption, smuggling and sales of narcotics. Gulen denies any relation to the processes.

Turkish authorities said that they will close down education centers controlled by Gulen’s associates.
