87 prisoners freed in Georgia on New Year's Eve

87 prisoners were freed in Georgia on New Year's Eve, the country's Deputy Penitentiary Minister Grigol Giorgadze says. According to the official, some 800 prisoners issued a formal request to be granted parole, but the authorities decided to release only 87 of them.
