Earthquake measuring 5.5 in southern Iran: first casualties

Today, in the Iranian province of Fars, near the city of Lar earthquake measuring 5.5 injured about 30 residents of the city; one person died.

During an earthquake in Lar, many buildings were destroyed, and power supply system was broken.

The first earthquake was followed by the second one measuring 4.3.
