Organizer of the November terrorist attack at the Iranian Embassy caught in Lebanon

The leader of the Sunni group the Abdullah Azzam Brigade, Majid al-Majid, the organizer of the terrorist attack at the Iranian embassy in Beirut in November 2013, was arrested today by the Lebanese authorities .

This was announced by Lebanese Defense Minister Fayez Ghon; he noted that now al-Majid is being interrogated by the police. The minister did not dwell on the circumstances of the detention.

On November 19 near the Iranian embassy in Beirut two bombs were blown up, resulting in 23 deaths and 146 people injured.
