Residents of St. Petersburg commemorate victims of the attacks in Volgograd

34 people were killed as a result of two explosions on December 29 and 30 at the Volgograd railway station and on a trolleybus; about 70 people were injured. The residents of St. Petersburg lit candles in accordance with the number of victims of the terrorist attacks.
"We decided to honor the memory of the dead, to light candles and bring flowers", RIA Novosti quotes one of the participants of this action.
In the center of the city the city's residents laid flowers near the wall on Malaya Sadovaya Street. The police officers who were standing near the scene of the event protected the participants in the action.
