Berdimuhamedov raises salaries, pensions and scholarships by 10%

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has signed a decree increasing salaries of employees of budget-financed institutions, self-supporting enterprises and public organizations as well as pensions, state allowances and scholarships by 10 %.

The minimum pension of war veterans from now on will amount to  $ 280, with the maximum at about $ 378. 

Funds for this purpose are expected to be made available by improving the structure of institutions, enterprises and organizations , increasing the capacity of utilization and productivity of workers, Trend reports.
