At a closed meeting with journalists and representatives of non-governmental organizations, Prime Minister of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that he had received a message from the head of the Hismet movement offering to conclude truce between the government and the organization.

Turkish prime minister said that he had not yet responded to the message. It touches upon the question of giving schools affiliated with the movement the status of private schools and of the dismissal of people associated with the movement. The letter calls for a compromise, APA reports.

The Turkish prime minister said that Hismet is trying to separate him from the President of Turkey, Abdullah Gul. According to him, the current crisis might continue until the local elections on March 30, 2014.
