Ministry of Emergency Situations to ensure safety at Sochi Olympics

Russian Emergency Situations Ministry will be on duty on January 7 in Sochi, the head of the department Vladimir Puchkov said.

"Security issues related to Winter Olympics are managed at the highest international level," RIA Novosti quotes Puchkov.

The Minister also assured that his department will provide a high level of security at the World Cup in 2018.
