World press on Iran's political system (January 7, 2014)

The Jerusalem Post published an article by Ariel Ben Solomon headlined "Iran FM says his country is model of democracy for region."

"Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Sunday that his country is capable of being a “successful model” of democracy in the Middle East," the article begins.

“Iran can play a significant role in the region,” teh author of the article cites Zarif as saying in a meeting in Tehran with Pier Ferdinando Casini, chairman of Italy’s Senate Foreign Affairs Committee.

"Referring to regional instability, the foreign minister said that “homegrown models of democracy” were needed," the author adds.
