Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaSergey Ivanov, Head of the Russian Presidential Administration, said that prosecutors’ surveillance of criminal investigations, especially the terrorist-related ones, should become more efficient, RIA Novosti reports.
The official explained that terrorists should be fully confident that any crimes will lead to inevitable punishments. This requires more scrupulous investigations. Ivanov added that law enforcers should rid the multi-ethnic country of nationalism, religious and interethnic tensions.
Ivanov mentioned that at least 3.6 million foreigners were working in Russia illegally.
He emphasized that corruption control was a priority. Law enforcers were causing at least 10% of total damage, while payments of fines did not exceed 1%. Ivanov noted that it was important for prosecutors to prevent pressure on business and unmotivated inspections.
