Counter-terrorism operation regime imposed in Kabardino-Balkaria

The counter-terrorism operation regime was imposed on the road between Kishpek and Dugulubgey on January 11. A group of militants in the area had a shootout with the police for several hours. The police imposed the Vulkan-4 and Perekhvat plans, ITAR-TASS reports.

Major-General Sergey Kmenny, Chief of the FSB Directorate in Kabardino-Balkaria, imposed the counter-terrorism operation regime in Baksan and Kishpek at 6.15 am today.
