Patriarch of Moscow and all-Russia highly rates Muslim activities in Caucasus

The Patriarch of Moscow and all-Russia Kirill has highly rated the role and authority in the CIS of the head of the Muslim Administration of the Caucasus, Allahshukur Pashazade, at a meeting in Moscow, Interfax reports.

The Patriarch said that the words of Pashazade influence the interreligious world of Azerbaijan and CIS space. He recalled his recent visits to Baku and meetings with the Azerbaijani president and his wife that had a positive effect on the Interreligious Council of the CIS.

According to 1news.az, citing the Patriarch, the topic of the meeting was interaction between Orthodox Christians and Muslims and other religions.
