Tractor drivers of Stavropol Territory set world record

The ‘Rostselmash’ company, whose tractor was used by Stavropol agrarians, set a world record for the area of agricultural land covered per day. On August 24th the company received a certificate from the Guinness Book of records, RIA Novosti reports, citing a spokesman of the company.


The record was made on July 13th on a Versatile tractor with a disk harrow, which was working in the Ipatov region of Stavropol Territory. Two tractor drivers covered 416.9 ha. Independent experts registered the record.


‘Rostselmash’ was founded in 1929 and is part of the industrial union called ‘New community’, taking 17% of the world market of agricultural engineering and 65% of the Russian and CIS market. It produces 17 types of agricultural engineering, with over 100 models and modifications.
Realization, pre-sale preparation and servicing of the vehicles is carried out by the largest dealer network in Europe, consisting of 500 branches and service centers. The engineering operates in 44 countries of the world and constantly provides 26 countries with engineering.
