Dagestani mass media to be checked for extremism promotion

Dagestani President Ramazan Abdulatipov has ordered the government and the regional FSB directorate to inspect the mass media for extremism promotion, Interfax reports.The Dagestani leader noted that the media were often criticizing the police but paid much less attention to the threat of extremist and terrorist ideology.Abdulatipov added that about 90% of the most grave crimes were solved.
