Turkmen president criticizes security services

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has criticized Yaylym Berdiyev, Minister for National Security, and Dovrangeldi Bayramov, Head of the State Migration Service, ITAR-TASS reports.

The two officials were criticized for inefficiency. Colonel Bayramov was demoted to Lieutenant-Colonel and will be dismissed, unless he sets everything right.

Speaking at the first session of the Security Council in 2014, the president said that the work of security structures did not meet demands of the reality. He noted the need for professional training of officers and soldiers in order to modernize the Armed Forces.
