Syrian opposition wants to postpone Geneva-2

The Geneva-2 Conference should be postponed, said Hisham Marv, an authority of the National Coalition and first secretary of the Syrian National Council, Interfax reports.He explained that there were conditions needed to be met in order for the talks to succeed: release of political prisoners in Damascus, stopping the blockade of certain districts, supply of humanitarian aid and withdrawal of Hezbollah militants helping the Syrian regime.Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov expressed concerns about the position of the Syrian opposition. He reminded that the Syrian government had formed its delegation for the conference long ago, while the opposition was still reluctant to do the same.
