Russian emergency services ready for Sochi Olympics

Russian Minister for Emergencies Vladimir Puchkov inspected the emergency services that will operate at the Sochi Olympic Games, RIA Novosti reports.

Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered him to inspect his executives. The minister visited Olympic facilities of the coastal and highland clusters. Puchkov visited the Center for Training of Rescuers at Krasnaya Polyana, met rescuers, checked their canteens and readiness for service. He visited the 19th fire station at the Olympic Park and the Crisis Control Center of Sochi.

Puchkov noted the well-prepared emergency services of Sochi for the Olympic and Paralympic Games. He also met Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Alexander Tkachyov and discussed cooperation.
