Iran develops new-generation bio-capsule

Mohammad Ebrahimi, Head of the Iranian Research Center for Space System, said that Iran started development of bio-capsules of a new generation to carry astronauts into space.

The capsule is being designed. Iran plans to send a man into space by 2024. It send the first bio-capsule with living organisms in February 2010.

Iran is one of the 24 co-founders of the UN Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space.
