European missile shield threatens Russia – defense minister

Russian Defense Minister Army General Sergey Shoygu said today that deployment of the missile shield at the Russian border, formation of effective high-accuracy weapons and militarization of space were new threats to security in Russia, RIA Novosti reports.

He reminded that the president had ordered strengthening of the nuclear triad (ground, air and naval), formation of global intelligence, including a space group, development of the Air, Naval and Ground Forces.
