According to Armenian Defense Ministry press secretary Seiran Shahsuvaryan, Armenian military personnel accommodated in Afghanistan with peace-support mission were not harmed in clash with Taliban fighters, which happened in the Kunduz region of Afghanistan. Reported RIA News.
On April 2 three German soldiers were killed and five injured in the fight against talibs.
Shahsuvaryan pointed out, that Armenian forces are responsible for the defense of airport, while the clash happened in Chardara district right near the base of German peace-makers.
Armenian peacekeeping force, consisted of rifle platoon, medical officer and three staff officers, is deployed in afghani city Kunduz support peacekeeping mission as a part of ISAF. The main responsibility of Armenian forces is defense of the airport.
