Anti-crisis headquarters close down in Stavropol Territory
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe authorities of Stavropol Territory have unanimously decided to close down the anti-crisis headquarters, established in November last year to support the regional economy, RIA Novosti reports.
The organization proposed keeping the tariffs for energy carriers on hold, prolongation of budget subsidies for investment credits issued earlier, subsidizing credits for filling the turnover finances of enterprises from the budget, using the system of state orders and using consulting lines for enterprises based on regional ministries and agencies.
The deputy chairman of the government of Stavropol Territory, Georgiy Yefremov, said that the organization had accomplished all its goals successfully. The new goals for the region are creation of new technologies and production, new jobs in new sectors, modernization of the region's entire economy and its stable development.
He emphasized that, in order to solve the issues within the strategy of development for 2020 of the North Caucasian Federal District, they need to establish a structure to continue solving the problems that the headquarters had been solving. The headquarters was proposed to be reorganized into an interdepartmental commission, Minister of Economic Development Yuri Yagudayev said.
He said that one of the priority goals is the stable development of enterprises and organizations. The secondary goal is financial treatment of organizations with a risk of bankruptcy or raiding.
Yagudayev said that the commission for economic development of Stavropol Territory will consist of an airport commission for aviation security, improving the functioning of Caucasian ministerial groups, employing of foreign workers, migration issues, and two working groups for illegal changing of property holders of their economic activities and studying price-fixing for social products and energy carriers.
The minister emphasized that representatives of the Arbitrary Court of the region, the prosecution service and the Central Bank of Russia will participate in the commission.
