Georgia and NATO to discuss regional security

Georgian Defense Minister Irakly Alasania said today that the military committee of the NATO will visit the republic on February 11-12 to discuss regional security in the light of the Sochi Olympic Games, Trend reports.

Alasania mentioned transit and infrastructure opportunities of Georgia that allow the NATO to move troops from Afghanistan through Georgia and Azerbaijan as topics for the discussion.
