EU chief diplomat notes need for agreement on political transition in Syria

EU Chief Diplomat Catherine Ashton said at the Geneva-2 Conference that an agreement on a period of political transition in Syria should be reached at the conference.

She emphasized that the international society should help Syria stop the conflict and put efforts into ending sufferings of the population.
