Iranian economy may become dominant – president

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said at the World Economic Forum in Davos that the economy of the Islamic Republic may become one of the world’s leaders in the next 30 years, Day.az reports.He noted that the crisis had demonstrated that no country could survive on its own. Rouhani called the Davos Forum an excellent opportunity to discuss international and global problems.The president expressed a readiness to cooperate with all countries of the region to resolve the Syrian crisis, strengthen economic security and work on social and cultural problems. He clarified that Iran wanted to cooperate with Turkey, Iraq, Russia, Pakistan and Afghanistan.According to Rouhani, Iranian-EU relations will be fully realized by the time Tehran needs to sign a nuclear agreement in Geneva. He added that relations with the US have entered a new stage.
