Presidents of Kazakhstan and EBRD meet

Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev met President of the EBRD Suma Chakrabarti at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Trend reports.They discussed assistance of the bank in national and foreign investments, prospects of infrastructure development, construction of the Big Almaty Ring Road.Nazarbayev noted that the EBRD had made a great contribution to the development of the economy. He urged the bank to continue supporting small and medium business in Kazakhstan.Chakrabarti said that Kazakh projects in 2013 were worth about $450-500 million and the bank is interested in additional financing. The EBRD president noted that over 50% of projects were part of the Gree Economy initiatives.
