Adygeya among top 10 regions with lowest crime rate in public places

Adygeya has been on the list of top 10 Russian regions with the lowest crime rate in public places, Yuga.ru reports.

Only 14.5% of crimes registered in Adygeya were committed on streets, squares and parks. The rate of such crimes in some other regions exceeds that of Adygeya 3-4-fold.

The average crime-solving rate in the region exceeds the average of the North Caucasian Federal District by 20% and reaches 79.2%. It is on the 7th position in the subgroup, according to a report of the Interior Ministry for 2013.
