22nd International Christmas Educational Readings in Moscow

The final round of the 22nd International Christmas Educational Readings under the chairmanship of Patriarch Kirill will take place in Moscow on January 26-29, 2014. This year they begin an anniversary year of marking the 700th anniversary of Sergius Radonezhski’s birth. That is why the theme of the readings is “St. Sergius Radonezhski. Rus’. Heritage, Modernity, Future.”

Mersurius, Metropolitan of Rostov and Novocherkassk, chairman of the Organizational Committee of the Readings, and Vsevolod Chaplin, Archpriest, chairman of the Synod Department for Relations between Church and Society, spoke about the Christmas Readings.
