Karachay-Cherkessia accepts Olympic torch

Today the Olympic torch was passed to Karachay-Cherkessia. The torch was transported by helicopter from Dagestan. The event took place at the Nart stadium in Cherkessk .

16 torchbearers participated in the torch relay, including renowned coaches who have raised many champions, as well as athletes, who became winners and prize-winners of the championships of Russia, Europe and the world in different sports.
