A meeting with teachers and parents from the village of Akhlymakhmudlu took place today at the Congress of Azerbaijanis of Georgia. The school's principal told them that it was planned to close the school due to the “small amount of pupils”. The village of Arafly, where it is planned to send the pupils of the closing school, is 5-6 km away and there is no transport being offered. Some 16 teachers will be left without jobs in case of closure.
