BP, SOCAR to extract deep-lying gas together

BP and the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) are working on an agreement to extract deep-lying gas at the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli Field, according to BP Director for Exploration and Appraisal of Eurasia Greg Riley, Trend reports.300 billion cubic meters of gas have been confirmed at the depths of the field. Development of the field will go according to Azerbaijani plans for gas exports.
