Georgian PM meets Israeli president

Georgian Prime Minister Irakly Garibashvili has met Israeli President Shimon Peres in Israel, Trend reports.

Garibashvili expressed condolences over the death of Israeli ex-Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. The sides discussed bilateral relations and progress.

Peres expressed satisfaction with the start of the inter-governmental commission. He noted that the Jewish community of Georgia was happy with life.
