Speaker of Iranian parliament to visit Russia

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif told Russian ex-Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov in Tehran that exchange of visits of state figures was of great importance for expansion of Russian-Iranian strategic ties, Trend reports.Zarif expressed hope that Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Iran in the near future. Zarif noted that Speaker of the Iranian Parliament Ali Larijani will visit Russia soon to discuss inter-parliamentary relations. He added that good relations of Iran and Russia met their interests and served to strengthen peace and stability.
