IAEA concludes inspection of Gachin uranium mines of Iran

Behrouz Kamalvandi, spokesman for the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, said that IAEA inspectors visited the Gachin uranium mines in Hormozgan Province today, ITAR-TASS reports.

They will leave Tehran tonight.

The Gachin uranium mines had not been inspected since 2005. The IAEA inspection was organized according to an agreement between Tehran and the IAEA to prove the peaceful nature of the Iranian nuclear program.
