US threatens to use force against Assad regime

The United States has threatened to use force against the Assad regime if the Syrian authorities fail to meet the schedule for chemical arms destruction, RIA Novosti reports on Friday.

US Secretary of State John Kerry says the regime is already behind schedule and pointed out that Chapter 7 of the UN Charter allows the use of force if the previous resolution is being violated.
