Iranian Foreign Ministry does not expect new U.S. sanctions against Iran

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said he was not afraid of new U.S. sanctions during the negotiations on the nuclear issue  at the Council on Foreign Relations in Germany, Reuters reports.

 

He added that in case of "goodwill," an agreement on the settlement of the nuclear issue will be reached within six months, RIA Novosti reports.

 

Earlier, U.S. President Barack Obama said that he will use his right of veto if the US Congress adopts new sanctions against Iran during negotiations on the nuclear issue.
