NATO encourages Georgia to participate in Sochi Olympics

James Appathurai, the NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia, has approved Georgia's participation in the Sochi Olympic Games, Georgia Online reports.

Appathurai noted that the visit of a NATO military committee to Georgia during the Games had no political message related to Sochi. It is a message of support for Georgia, in his words.
