Daggaz director general arrested in Makhachkala
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaThe Director General of Daggaz, Ruslan Abdullayev, has been detained in Makhachkala (Dagestan) for Gazprom's loss of over 68 million rubles, SKFO.ru reports.
The police say that the official registered ownership of non-existent gas pipelines in 22 districts from June 2008 to April 2013. There were supposedly 3.1 running meters of pipelines. Abdullayev put the pipelines on a lease deal with Dagestangazservis, a company of Gazprom.
Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Pyatigorsk, a subsidiary of Gazprom in the North Caucasian Federal District, lost over 68 million rubles. The police initiated a criminal case into high-level fraud.
