Erdoğan urges more German support for EU bid
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaTurkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has urged the German authorities to step up its support for Turkey’s EU entry bid, while vowing that Turkey would continue making progress with its reforms, Hürriyet Daily News reports.
“We expect and would like also to receive a great support from Germany for the path into the EU and the EU admission process,” Erdoğan is quoted by the news agency as saying on February 4 during his visit to Berlin.
“We would like for Germany to campaign [for it] more strongly than up until now,” the head of the Turkish cabinet said.
