Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Pyatigorsk theft case solved

The Russian police say that functionaries of the Russian State Register Office in Dagestan were involved in the fraud of Daggaz officials in Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Pyatigorsk, ITAR-TASS reports.

The functionaries registered 3.1 million running meters of non-existent gas pipelines in 2008 to make a contract on their lease. The fraud caused a loss of about 70 million rubles for lease of the non-existent pipelines. Daggaz's director has been detained.
