Ashkhabad to build metro

Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has discussed construction of a metro with Vladimir Petruk, President of the Interbudmontazh construction association (Ukraine), Trend reports.Petruk thanked Berdimuhamedov for the trust and assured that the initiative will be studied scrupulously.Construction of a metro in Ashkhabad was raised in 2008. A company from St. Petersburg was invited for the project. Ashkhabad expanded its territory by 375.54 square km in 2013 by merging with its suburbs Abadan and Rukhabat
