Turkey prefers Iraqi gas

Turkey prefers Iraqi gas to Russian, Azerbaijani and Iranian, as stated by Turkish Minister for Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz, Trend reports.

The minister explained that imports of gas from the south-eastern neighbour were cheaper.

Minister for Natural Resources of Iraqi Kurdistan Ashti Khavrami said in 2013 that the autonomy wanted to sell Turkish gas twice cheaper than that of Russia.
