A bill of the Turkish Education Ministry to close all private education centers and private courses to prepare students to enter universities has been introduced for consideration at the parliament, Trend reports.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan is one of the backers of the idea. He believes that a state-funded education system does not need private education centers.

According to 2013, the country has 3640 private and 60,165 state-owned universities.
